I know what scene your talking about–I’m always scared I’ll see something and subconsciously it ends up in one of the comics. I honestly can say I wasn’t even thinking of that though, cuz I’ve been thinking about doing a comic strip about the subject matter for sometime in Boomerang, before I discontinued it.
I was gonna have the same thing happen in Boomerang, while both the father and son were looking for a job.
If I was influenced by anything, I was thinking about trying to do, what Seinfeld did years ago and have an “episode/comic strip” about masturbation, without explicitly saying the word.
